Cooperstown Pro Wood Bat Warranty Information
It happens to everyone. Wooden bats break.
This purchased bat warranty provides a one-time replacement of your Custom Pro Wood Cooperstown Bat if the bat breaks under normal usage within 30 days of delivery.
Replacement does not cover bats that have been abused, altered or mistreated. Bats used in batting cages, or hit with a dimple or rubber ball are not included in this warranty. Ball marks left by dimpled or rubber balls are not the same as those left by a regular baseball or wood safe ball. Damage along the cup and breakage at the handle is a normal reaction from hitting off the cup.
To request a replacement you will need to email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery, with invoice number, name, shipping address, and specific photos of damaged bat.
Photos required:
- 1 full length photo of the bat
- 4 photos of the barrel of the bat from the handle side of the center brand to the end of the barrel. Take the first image of the engraved side. Turn the bat ¼ turn and take a photo until there are 4 photos.
- 1 photo of the location of the break
Cooperstown Bat will review the photos to determine if the break was caused by a wood defect or normal use breakage. If appropriate photos are not submitted, Cooperstown Bat will request the bat returned at your expense.
If the broken bat is determined to qualify for replacement, Cooperstown Bat will issue a return shipping label for bats shipped within the Continental United States. Include your warranty card, a copy of your receipt or order confirmation if placed on line with the damaged bat.
The replacement bat will be the same size, color and specs as the original bat and will ship USPS ground to the shipping address provided, within 7 business days. Expedited shipping can be purchased at the customers request.

Baseball just isn’t baseball without a wood bat. Many young players are turning to wood to increase strength, mechanics and eye for the ball. Before picking up just any bat, a player needs to know what they are looking for.
Youth vs Junior Big Barrel Vs Pro:
Youth Pro: For youth players in t-ball and youth leagues. Sizes range from 26” – 31” with a thin (2.25”) barrel. Stock youth bats are all a -5, (length – 5 = weight). Custom weights (-5 to 0) can be ordered through as well – Custom Youth Pro
Junior Pro Big Barrel: The middle ground between a youth and pro level bat. Players seeking the fat barrel of a pro model with the light weight of a youth bat. Sizes range from 29” – 31”
Adult Pro: For your high school and adult players. Sizes range from 30-34” with a fat (2.45 – 2.625) barrel. Stock pro bats are all a -3.
Knob: traditional, flair or cone, or oversized
Handle (Diameter): Thin, Medium, Thick
Taper: Fast Taper – End loaded or Slow Taper – Even Balanced

Wood Types:
Cooperstown Bat offers ash, birch and maple, all forested within 200 miles of Cooperstown. We mill, turn and finish in house … from the forest to the field we handle each step to ensure a quality wood bat.
Bat weight & length:
Below is a chart for length, but this is just a guide. If a bat is too long the player will be swinging extra weight thus slowing his bat speed down. If the bat is too short the player will not be able to reach the outside plate.
Always check with your league for what requirements or regulations they have, before making your purchase.

What you need to know about your wood bat
Wooden Bats Break.
If you hit a baseball on the cup or the handle of the bat, the odds of breaking your bat are very high.
They can break first swing or last multiple seasons.
DO:
- ONLY use regulation baseballs or wood safe baseballs
- Ask if a batting cage uses WOOD SAFE baseballs before using your wood bat.
- Work on hitting off of a tee to get used to your bat and putting the barrel of the bat on the ball.
DO NOT:
- Use your wood bat in commercial batting cages unless they are using WOOD SAFE balls.
- Use dimple or rubber balls with your wood bat.
- Let other people use your wood bat. They will break it.
- Leave your bat in extreme cold, heat, dry or wet conditions.

Let's talk Bat Color
First, before we talk too much about what to think about when choosing a bat color we should make sure we are all referring to colors the same way. At CBC we always refer to a bat by barrel color/handle color, ie: Red/Black means red barrel black handle. This will help to avoid any confusion.
We offer a large variety of stock color combinations, as well as the option of creating your own color combination. Custom color combinations usually take about 2 weeks, but during our peak (summer) season it can be up to 8 weeks. View stock color combinations here, custom color options here

Products may be returned for a refund (less shipping costs if applicable) for any reason within ten (10) days of delivery, with the exception of personalized product wood bats intended for use in play. If you wish to return a product, all original packaging material(s) must be preserved and returned with the product.
Personalized product may be returned for a replacement only in the case of an error in production by the Cooperstown Bat Company. Cooperstown Bat Company must be contact within ten (10) days of delivery with photos sent to [email protected], to report an error. The Cooperstown Bat Company accepts no responsibility for customer errors such as misspellings, incorrect choice of bat type or any other error.The Cooperstown Bat Company accepts no responsibility for bats damaged or broken through neglect, misuse or in the course of practice or play. Due to the nature of wood, all wood bats used in practice or play will break eventually.
Product Damaged During Shipment
If a product has been damaged during shipping, please preserve all packaging material(s) and call Customer Service at 888-547-2415 (607-547-2415 outside the U.S.). The Customer Service line is open Monday through Friday, 9-5 EST, except major holidays.

If you need to change your order once it has been submitted, contact us as soon as possible. Once in production it may be too late to make a change. After hours please email the change by replying to the order confirmation with your request. During office hours please call us Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm at 607-547-2415.
Engraving Errors
Engraving is permanent and can not be changed once complete. Please make sure the information is accurate when submitting or approving an engraving proof. Orders will be completed as ordered or if an engraving proof is requested as approved.
If the product received does not match the approved layout or if there was no layout, the order submitted; please email us a photo showing the engraving for our records and we will replace at no cost.
If the engraving was approved or the order submitted with incorrect information there will be a cost to replace

Product Catalog
The store’s products may be browsed by clicking on the various category names. When browsing a category, product summaries are shown. To get more details on a product, select its link in the summary display. To view more products within the category, select the page selectors that appear after the product summaries.
Product Searches
Products can also be located by performing keyword searches. You can select a keyword and it will be matched against the product’s code, name, and description. This makes locating products easy when you’re not sure what category to browse in.
Shopping Cart
The shopping cart keeps track of all the products you want to order while you browse through the store. When you find an item that you are interested in, you can add it to your shopping cart by selecting the ADD link. Each time an item is added to the cart, you are shown a summary of the cart items and its subtotal. You can remove items from your cart or update the items’s attributes or quantity from the appropriate link on the shopping cart page.
Check Out
When you are satisfied with the products you want, you must checkout of the store to place your order. Select the appropriate check out link located on most pages. You will be prompted to either login to your existing customer account or create one as you checkout. Your shipping, billing, and payment info will be processed as you go through the checkout. Finally, you will be presented with a confirmation screen which allows you to review all of your order before placing it.

You may check out as a guest without creating a customer account. The benefit of creating an account the ability to track the status of your orders, review your order history, and use express checkout on subsequent visits to the store. You are always able to update your customer information at any time from the store’s account pages. If you ever forget you account password, you can have it emailed to you from the accounts page.
Shipping
Our store has multiple options for shipping orders, these are presented during the checkout on the payment page in a selectable list along with the additional cost for each method. Depending on where the shipping destination is, not all shipping options may be available for an order. These options are automatically removed from the select list. We also have a pickup at store option, which has no charge for shipping (NYS sales tax is applicable), but requires you to go to the store to pick up your order after its been approved.
Sales Tax
Sales tax may be applicable depending on the items you have ordered and the address that the order is being shipped to. Any applicable sales tax charges will appear during the checkout process.
